By creating this partnership, both Earth Protect and Sustainable Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia, will increase their mission impact and engage more people in support of a sustainable future. 

The Sustainable Sunshine Coast is a partnership between the University of the Sunshine Coast , Queensland Sunshine Coast TAFE (Technical and Further Education) and the Sunshine Coast Regional Council. It is designed to provide easy access to the latest sustainability research, education opportunities, local events and news for the residents of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.  Since this portal is managed by the three policy and education pillars of the region, the information is reliable, educational and non-commercial.

The aim is to bring together sustainability information and resources that are both Sunshine Coast relevant and easily accessible to help people on their sustainability journey. The programs actively engage the residents in sustainable activities, provide the community with up-to-date and relevant news, events, education opportunities and initiatives in the areas of environment, energy, transport, water, waste, recycling, building and design.
