Rocky Mountain Wolf Project

The Rocky Mountain Wolf Project aims to restore gray wolves to their once native habitat of western Colorado. We are a coalition comprised of top notch conservation organizations, Colorado landowners, passionate individuals, and respected scientists. We believe that the gray wolf deserves to return home to Colorado but we want Coloradans to believe this is as well. It is therefore our duty to educate Coloradans on the realities of the gray wolf to dispel myths, to engage in conversation with ranchers & hunters to hear their concerns, and to show the great state of Colorado all the benefits the gray wolf can bring to their landscape. Restoring Colorado’s natural balance for all to enjoy is the sole purpose of the Rocky Mountain Wolf Project’s existence.
