World Population Day

The United Nations' (UN) World Population Day is annually observed on July 11 to reaffirm the human right to plan for a family.

The UN has published its latest population projections, which forecast that the world’s population will increase from 7.2 billion today to 8.1billion in 2025 and 9.6 billion in 2050.
